TIDAL, high-fidelity music and video streaming service owned by JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Daft Punk, and Chris Martin, has purchased $7 million worth of SENSO. This ERC-20 token functions as the in-platform token of Sensorium Galaxy — a social VR platform that allows users to communicate in a new way, attend concerts, dance performances in a virtual alternate universe.
This sizable purchase is the result of an exclusive partnership agreement signed between the companies to enable artists on TIDAL to stream their content in the Sensorium Galaxy. “Our relationship with Sensorium provides TIDAL with the opportunity to gain exclusive rights for its stellar artist roster to have their shows and music broadcast exclusively within Sensorium’s themed virtual entertainment worlds,” says TIDAL COO Lior Tibon.
As its name suggests, the Sensorium Galaxy consists of multiple worlds that serve as content hubs. The public launch of the platform is scheduled for the first half of 2021 with the release of two worlds: Prism and Motion. By immersing themselves with a VR headset, users can explore these different locations, socializing with other participants and attending events organized by the leaders of the entertainment industry. To ensure that everyone gets a chance to join Sensorium Galaxy, the platform will also be available for PC, Android, and iOS devices.
The collaboration between Sensorium Galaxy and TIDAL is one step forward in the development of the platform, which already counts on the support of Yann Pissenem, founder of Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza nightclubs, and the dance superstar Sergei Polunin.
Sensorium Galaxy works with Unreal Engine 4 to offer AAA graphics in a virtual reality set up. Platform developers also leverage artificial intelligence so that avatars can learn from users and subsequently exist autonomously, attending specific events, or establishing contacts with other participants based on the user’s preferences. The use of AI is a distinctive aspect of Sensorium Galaxy, as it could potentially help users achieve “digital immortality.”
At the core of Sensorium Galaxy are SENSO — ERC-20 tokens that function as currency inside the virtual ecosystem. With these tokens, users can purchase tickets to multiple activities, premium subscriptions, and add-ons to customize their avatars. The company plans to acquire over 1.8 million users by 2022.
To date, SENSO is listed on renowned cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Bittrex, KuCoin, Bitcoin.com and HitBTC.
Sensorium Corporation, the technology company behind this development, was founded in 2018 by billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov and has so far attracted over $100 million in private investments. In a recent interview with Forbes, Prokhorov outlined the huge potential of combining VR and AI technologies to “fix” what he described as a crisis in the current digital communications landscape. “The combination of VR and AI creates unique opportunities for developing new platforms where users can seamlessly interact with the virtual environments and between each other. We are confident that the development of a new way of communication in virtual setups, along with the limitless possibilities for individual and collective self-realization in those digital environments, will result in massive business opportunities”
In this regard, Tibon adds that “the Sensorium Galaxy is a next-generation platform for entertainment consumption which will elevate the connection fans have with their favorite artists and bring the artist’s vision to life in a new and exciting way.”

Bitcoin 11 Years - Achievements, Lies, and Bullshit Claims So Far - Tooootally NOT a SCAM !!!!

That's right folks, it's that time again for the annual review of how Bitcoin is going: all of those claims, predictions, promises .... how many have turned out to be true, and how many are completely bogus ???
Please post / link this on Bitcoin (I am banned there for speaking the truth, so I cannot do it) ... because it'a way past time those poor clueless mushrooms were exposed to the truth.
Anyway, without further ado, I give you the Bitcoin's Achievements, Lies, and Bullshit Claims So Far ...
.
Bitcoin Achievements so far:
  1. It has spawned a cesspool of scams (2000+ shit coin scams, plus 100's of other scams, frauds, cons).
  2. Many 1,000's of hacks, thefts, losses.
  3. Illegal Use Cases: illegal drugs, illegal weapons, tax fraud, money laundering, sex trafficking, child pornography, hit men / murder-for-hire, ransomware, blackmail, extortion, and various other kinds of fraud and illicit activity.
  4. Legal Use Cases: Steam Games, Reddit, Expedia, Stripe, Starbucks, 1000's of merchants, cryptocurrency conferences, Ummm ????? The few merchants who "accept Bitcoin" immediately convert it into FIAT after the sale, or require you to sell your coins to BitPay or Coinbase for real money, and will then take that money. Some of the few who actually accept bitcoin haven't seen a customer who needed to pay with bitcoin for the last six months, and their cashiers no longer know how to handle that.
  5. Contributing significantly to Global Warming.
  6. Wastes vasts amounts of electricity on useless, do nothing work.
  7. Exponentially raises electricity prices when big miners move into regions where electricity was cheap.
  8. It’s the first "currency" that is not self-sustainable. It operates at a net loss, and requires continuous outside capital to replace the capital removed by miners to pay their costs. It’s literally a "black hole currency."
  9. It created a new way for people living too far from Vegas to gamble all their life savings away.
  10. Spawned "blockchain technology", a powerful technique that lets incompetent programmers who know almost nothing about databases, finance, programming, or blockchain scam millions out of gullible VC investors, banks, and governments.
  11. Increased China's foreign trade balance by a couple billion dollars per year.
  12. Helped the FBI and other law enforcement agents easily track down hundreds of drug traffickers and drug users.
  13. Wasted thousands if not millions of man-hours of government employees and legislators, in mostly fruitless attempts to understand, legitimize, and regulate the "phenomenon", and to investigate and prosecute its scams.
  14. Rekindled the hopes of anarcho-capitalists and libertarians for a global economic collapse, that would finally bring forth their Mad Max "utopia".
  15. Added another character to Unicode (no, no, not the "poo" 💩 character ... that was my first guess as well 🤣)
  16. Provides an easy way for malware and ransomware criminals to ply their trade and extort hospitals, schools, local councils, businesses, utilities, as well as the general population.
.
Correct Predictions:
  1. 2015-12: "1,000 dollar in 2015", u/Luka_Magnotta, aka time traveler from the future, 31-Aug-2013, https://www.reddit.com/Bitcoin/comments/1lfobc/i_am_a_timetraveler_from_the_future_here_to_beg/ (Technically, this prediction is WRONG because the highest price reached in 2015 was $495.56 according to CMC. Yes, Bitcoin reached $1,000 in 2013 and 2014, but that's NOT what the prediction says).
  2. 2017-12: "10,000 in 2017", u/Luka_Magnotta, aka time traveler from the future, 31-Aug-2013, https://www.reddit.com/Bitcoin/comments/1lfobc/i_am_a_timetraveler_from_the_future_here_to_beg/
  3. 2018-04: $10,000 (by April 2018), Mike Novogratz, link #1: https://www.bitcoinprice.com/predictions/, link #2: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-21/mike-novogratz-says-bitcoin-will-end-the-year-at-10-000

Are capital controls the final boss of censorship?

Been holding and using Bitcoin since 2012. I've hated Coinbase and all KYC related fiat interfaces for sometime because of financial censorship. Even worked at a payment processor where I saw such censorship in action.
My biggest fear has always been the effectiveness in power of capital controls. As an example, if you are a billionaire, and another group of billionaires wanted to deplatform you, they could effectively seize your wealth through governmental capital controls (asset forfeiture/seizure; blocking transfers; etc.). There are already some reports of this happening in China (billionaires there were interested in Bitcoin because they could more easily move their wealth out of mainland China), and a few other countries.
I think we've seen some small push back in small one-off scenarios such as Peter Thiel neutering Gawker. But it seems at this point if you have wealth, or acquire wealth you mustn't get too uppity in order to keep it. This is why although folks like Notch are very vocal about their views, they seem hesitant on mobilizing on those views for fear of capital control based retribution. (Label someone a terrorist and immediately their assets are frozen or seized).
Pondering about Gab getting banned from Coinbase is reigniting these fears. Only 4 years ago, New York made it illegal to do on the street transfers between Bitcoin and cash money. And as such people started getting robbed at knife and gunpoint. (When did exchanging crypto become as illegal and dangerous as dealing drugs?!?)
Also of note, in the US, law enforcement can seize cash if they think it will be used to commit a crime without due process. How close are we to the point we actually have PC police who seize assets from those who "speak out of turn"?
I don't want to live in a world like Tim Soret's upcoming game where you can be completely removed from your wealth as easily as getting banned from Twitter because "racism", "bigotry", etc. But I'm seriously worried were already on the highway to hell at full speed and there is no stopping this situation from ultimately occurring...
+2 Censorship +1 Politics related to financial controls as a censorship tool

Rudrahp72's Cool Games List for Attractive Androids, Part 1

I made a post a while back dumping a list of games I felt were great, and worth people's time(and money). However, many people pointed out that a simple list of names wasn't going to help anything. They are right. So here;s the list again, this time with info.
Swordigo
Genre: Platformer
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: Excellent gameplay, great art design, great music, fun progression, IAPs are not needed at all. I love this game so much. It's pretty much the pinnacle of Android gaming.
Cons: Uhh.... the ads, I guess? Seriously, this game is as close as you're going to get to 'perfect' for a mobile game. I just wish there was a sequel.
Link.
Data Wing
Genre: Race Puzzle
Price: Free, no IAP
Pros: Fantastic, touching story, slick gameplay, cool Tron-esque aesthetic. This is a labor of love by the dev, and it shows.
Cons: Learning curve is a bit steep. Also may bug out and crash.
Link.
Shadow Fight 2: Special Edition
Genre: Fighte RPG
Price: Paid, with IAP.($4.99 USD)
Pros: Slick fighting mechanics, interesting story, and badass soundtrack. They basically took the free game, removed some grindiness, added extra story. A good deal, especially considering that the sequel is trash.
Cons: There's STILL IAP, though it's not really needed. There's also no multiplayer component, like the free game.
Link.
Sky Force Reloaded
Genre: Top down shoote Bullet Hell
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: This game makes grinding for money fun. That's how good the gameplay is. Add a dance-worthy soundtrack, excellent replay value, and pretty graphics into the mix, and you've got yourself a winner.
Cons: The grinding might be fun, but there's a LOT of it. There's a bajillion upgrades, and you need them all to fully beat the game.
Link.
Sword of Xolan
Genre: Platformer
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: Nice, retro art style. Gameplay feels satisfying, and the level design is good, with secrets and occasionally multiple paths.
Cons: The game can get unreasonably hard. The difficulty suddenly spikes for a certain section in some levels.
Link.
Boson X
Genre: Runner.(kinda endless)
Price: Paid, no IAP($2.99 USD)
Pros: No powerups. No RNG. Just you, your reflexes, and the bomb-ass soundtrack against 18 increasingly difficult levels.
Cons: Hair-tearingly, Soul-crushingly difficult.
Link.
Alto's Adventure
Genre: Endless Runner
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: Soothing, charming music and artstyle. Simple, intuitive gameplay. Good for when you just want to relax.
Cons: The grindiness that's inherent to the genre.
Link.
Sorcery! Series
Genre: CYOA/RPG
Price:Paid, no IAPs($4.99 USD each)
Pros: Excellent story, unique combat system, choices matter, making it replayable, each game builds upon the last, allowing for one continuous run across all of them.
Cons: The papercut art, and stilted animation isn't for everyone. The lack of a full soundtrack can also get disconcerting.
Link.
Ancestor
Genre: Endless RunnePuzzle
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: A unique take on endless runners- you must solve puzzles increasingly faster to save your dude, and there are even puzzle bossfights. The calm soundtrack also helps in achieving a zen-like state. Example of IAPs done right- All cosmetic, no gameplay boosts.
Cons:RNG can fuck you over baaaad.
Link.
Battleheart
Genre: Strategy/RPG
Price: Free, no IAP
Pros: Very, very good combat system. A weak party can defeat a stronger foe through clever tactics- mindlessly grinding to upgrade is rarely necessary. Also, the handdrawn-esque art style is cute.
Cons: Learning curve very steep. Some mechanics simply aren't explained to you, and you have to figure it out on your own.
Link.
Dash Quest
Genre: RunneRPG
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: Very reminiscent of a SNES RPG- artstyle, music, even part of the gameplay. Very enjoyable, with a decent range of verying equipment to use, enemies to fight, and zones to explore. Even has minigames.
Cons: Again, grinding. It's always grinding. Never lupus, though.
Link.
Robotek
Genre: Strategy
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: Very cool little strategy game. App is tiny, artstyle is simple but effective, and combat always comes down to being smart.
Cons: The one thing holding this game back forma top rating is the god-awful energy system. Okay, I get it, it's a free game, you want people to artificially lengthen play time to show more ads, but how did you end up with a system more obnoxious than the ones in gacha games?
Link.
Slayin'
Genre: Endless..... Combat? Not quite sure how to classify this.
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: Multiple characters, each with their own unique gameplay spin. Simple, intuitive controls. Cute chibi pixel art style. Energetic soundtrack.
Cons: ♫ All around me is familiar grinding, so much grinding, only grinding...♫
Link.
The Fancy Pants Adventures
Genre: Platformer
Price: Free with IAP
Pros: It's Mutha. Fuckin. Fancy Pants. Even has the original flash game trilogy as unlockables. (If you don't know what Fancy Pants is, go play the flash games right now. You won't regret it.)
Cons: Gamepllay-boost IAPs. Why? You were so close to surpassing Swordigo as THE perfect mobile game!
Link.
The Bard's Tale
Genre: RPG/ Adventure
Price:Paid, with IAP($2.99 USD)
Pros: Originally a PC game, it was ported over to mobile, and thus features some bells and whistles usually missing from mobile games- full voice acting, fancy graphics, branching paths. The dialog is sharp and witty, the gameplay fun, and as a bonus, has the original DOS Bard's Tale trilogy as an unlock.
Cons: Don't remember what the IAP was for, but it doesn't need them, I'm sure.
Link.
Kingdom Rush series
Genre: Strategy/Tower defense
Price: Paid(except for the first game, which is free with IAP)
Pros: Cute art style, amazing music, satisfying levels which have multiple viable win layouts, slight replay value
Cons: Well..... the IAP, really. Characters are sometimes locked behind paywall, and there's gameplay boost stuff as well.
Link.
Upgrade the Game 2
Genre: ????????
Price: Free, no IAP
Pros: The whole concept is, you start with something that looks like someone had a seizure in MS Paint, and through playing a minigame, you earn money to upgrade everyhting- menus, graphics, sound effects, the minigame itself, into something acceptable.
Cons: You need dedication. You'll be playing a long, long time to upgrade everything to it's highest levels.
Link.
Bitcoin Billionaire
Genre: Idle Clicker
Price: Free, with IAP
Pros: I hate idle clickers. They're the bane of mobile gaming. At least gacha games give you waifus(or husbandos). This one is an exception. It's witty. It's self-aware. It attempts to vary the boring nature of the clicker genre. It lets you earn the premium currency at a limited rate as opposed to juts buying it. Okay, it's not overly unique over other idle games, I just like this one.
Cons: For all it's good points,it's still a clicker. A grindfest. And IAPs galore.
Link.
That's all for now, folks. Keep an eye out for when I next update? I'm your host, Rudrahp72, and I'll see you next time on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Rudrahp72's Cool Games List for Attractive Androids!

How do I mine Dogecoin?

How do I mine Dogecoin?
Let’s take a lucky guess that you’re here today because you’ve heard a lot about cryptocurrencies and you want to get involved, right? If you’re a community person, Dogecoin mining might be the perfect start for you!
Bitcoin was the first in 2009, and now there are hundreds of cryptocurrencies. These new coins (that operate on their own native blockchain) are called altcoins or alternative coins. One popular altcoin is Dogecoin. It can be bought, sold and traded, just like Bitcoin. It can also be mined!
So, what is Dogecoin mining?
You’ll know what hardware and what software you need to get started. You’ll also know whether or not Dogecoin mining is for you!
So, where would you like to start? The beginning? Great choice. Let’s have a quick look at how Dogecoin got started.
A (Very) Short History of Dogecoin
In 2013, an Australian named Jackson Palmer and an American named Billy Markus became friends. They became friends because they both liked cryptocurrencies. However, they also thought the whole thing was getting too serious so they decided to create their own.
Palmer and Markus wanted their coin to be more fun and more friendly than other crypto coins. They wanted people who wouldn’t normally care about crypto to get involved.
They decided to use a popular meme as their mascot — a Shiba Inu dog.

https://preview.redd.it/rymnyyz1iil31.png?width=303&format=png&auto=webp&s=f138e3fe56eef9c6b0e7f49b84fefc41fb83e5aa
Dogecoin was launched on December 6th, 2013. Since then it has become popular because it’s playful and good-natured. Just like its mascot!
Dogecoin has become well-known for its use in charitable acts and online tipping. In 2014, $50,000 worth of Dogecoin was donated to the Jamaican Bobsled Team so they could go to the Olympics. Dogecoin has also been used to build wells in Kenya. Isn’t that awesome!
Users of social platforms – like Reddit – can use Dogecoin to tip or reward each other for posting good content.
Dogecoin has the 27th largest market cap of any cryptocurrency.
Note: A market cap (or market capitalization) is the total value of all coins on the market.
So, Dogecoin is a popular altcoin, known for being fun, friendly and kind. It’s a coin with a dog on it! You love it already, don’t you?
Next, I want to talk about how mining works…
What is Mining?
To understand mining, you first need to understand how cryptocurrencies work. Cryptocurrencies are peer-to-peer digital currencies. This means that they allow money to be transferred from one person to another without using a bank.
Every cryptocurrency transaction is recorded on a huge digital database called a blockchain. The database is stored across thousands of computers called nodes. Nodes put together groups of new transactions and add them to the blockchain. These groups are called blocks.
Each block of transactions has to be checked by all the nodes on the network before being added to the blockchain. If nodes didn’t check transactions, people could pretend that they have more money than they really do (I know I would!).
Confirming transactions (mining) requires a lot of computer power and electricity so it’s quite expensive.
Blockchains don’t have paid employees like banks, so they offer a reward to users who confirm transactions. The reward for confirming new transactions is new cryptocurrency. The process of being rewarded with new currency for confirming transactions is what we call “mining”!

https://preview.redd.it/rcut2jx3iil31.png?width=598&format=png&auto=webp&s=8d78d41c764f4fe4e6386da4f40a66556a873b87
It is called mining because it’s a bit like digging for gold or diamonds. Instead of digging with a shovel for gold, you’re digging with your computer for crypto coins!
Each cryptocurrency has its own blockchain. Different ways of mining new currency are used by different coins where different rewards are offered.
So, how do you mine Dogecoin? What’s special about Dogecoin mining? Let’s see…
What is Dogecoin Mining?
Dogecoin mining is the process of being rewarded with new Dogecoin for checking transactions on the Dogecoin blockchain. Simple, right? Well no, it’s not quite that simple, nothing ever is!
Mining Dogecoin is like a lottery. To play the lottery you have to do some work. Well, actually your computer (or node) has to do some work! This work involves the confirming and checking of transactions which I talked about in the last section.
Lots of computers work on the same block of transactions at the same time but the only one can win the reward of new coins. The one that earns the new coins is the node that adds the new block of transactions to the old block of transactions. This is completed using complex mathematical equations.
The node that solves the mathematical problem first wins! It can then attach the newly confirmed block of transactions to the rest of the blockchain.
Most cryptocurrency mining happens this way. However, Dogecoin mining differs from other coins in several important areas. These areas are;
  • Algorithm: Each cryptocurrency has a set of rules for mining new currency. These rules are called a mining or hashing algorithm.
  • Block Time: This is the average length of time it takes for a new block of transactions to be checked and added to the blockchain.
  • Difficulty: This is a number that represents how hard it is to mine each new block of currency. You can use the difficulty number to work out how likely you are to win the mining lottery. Mining difficulty can go up or down depending on how many miners there are. The difficulty is also adjusted by the coin’s protocol to make sure that the block time stays the same.
  • Reward: This is the amount of new currency that is awarded to the miner of each new block.
Now, let’s compare how DogeCoin mining works compared to Litecoin and Bitcoin…
Mining Comparison
Bitcoin uses SHA-256 to guide the mining of new currency and the other two use Scrypt. This is an important difference because Scrypt mining needs a lot less power and is a lot quicker than SHA-256. This makes mining easier for miners with less powerful computers. Fans of Litecoin and Dogecoin think that they are fairer than Bitcoin because more people can mine them.
Note: In 2014, Litecoin and Dogecoin merged mining. This means they made it possible to mine both coins in the same process. Dogecoin mining is now linked with Litecoin mining. It’s like two different football teams playing home games in the same stadium!
Mining Dogecoin is a lot faster than mining Litecoin or Bitcoin. The block reward is much higher too!
Don’t get too excited though (sorry!). Dogecoin is still worth a lot less than Bitcoin and Litecoin. A reward of ten thousand Dogecoin is worth less than thirty US Dollars. A reward of 12.5 Bitcoin is currently worth 86,391.63 US Dollars!
However, it’s not as bad as it sounds. Dogecoin mining difficulty is more than one million times less than Bitcoin mining difficulty. This means you are much more likely to win the block reward when you mine Dogecoin.
Now I’ve told you about what Dogecoin mining is and how it works, would you like to give it a try?
Let’s see what you need to do to become a Dogecoin miner…
How to Mine Dogecoin
There are two ways to mine Dogecoin, solo (by yourself) or in a Dogecoin mining pool.
Note: A Dogecoin pool is a group of users who share their computing power to increase the odds of winning the race to confirm transactions. When one of the nodes in a pool confirms a transaction, it divides the reward between the users of the pool equally.
Dogecoin Mining: Solo vs Pool
When you mine as a part of a Dogecoin pool, you have to pay fees. Also, when the pool mines a block you will only receive a small portion of the total reward. However, pools mine blocks much more often than solo miners. So, your chance of earning a reward (even though it is shared) is increased. This can provide you with a steady new supply of Dogecoin.
If you choose to mine solo then you risk waiting a long time to confirm a transaction because there is a lot of competition. It could be weeks or even months before you mine your first block! However, when you do win, the whole reward will be yours. You won’t have to share it or pay any fees.
As a beginner, I would recommend joining a Dogecoin pool. This way you won’t have to wait as long to mine your first block of new currency. You’ll also feel like you’re part of the community and that’s what Dogecoin is all about!
What You Need To Start Mining Dogecoin
Before you start Dogecoin mining, you’ll need a few basics. They are;
  • A PC with either Windows, OS X or Linux operating system.
  • An internet connection
  • A Shiba Inu puppy (just kidding!)
You’ll also need somewhere to keep the Dogecoin you mine. Go to Dogecoin’s homepage and download a wallet.
Note: A wallet is like an email account. It has a public address for sending/receiving Dogecoin and a private key to access them. Your private keys are like your email’s password. Private keys are very important and need to be kept completely secure.
There are two different types; a light wallet and a full wallet. To mine Dogecoin, you’ll need the full wallet. It’s called Dogecoin Core.
Now that you’ve got a wallet, you need some software and hardware.
Dogecoin Mining Hardware
You can mine Dogecoin with;
  • Your PC’s CPU: The CPU in your PC is probably powerful enough to mine Dogecoin. However, it is not recommended. Mining can cause less powerful computers to overheat which causes damage.
  • A GPU: GPUs (or graphics cards) are used to improve computer graphics but they can also be used to mine Dogecoin. There are plenty of GPUs to choose from but here are a few to get you started;SAPPHIRE Pulse Radeon RX 580 ($426.98)Nvidia GeForce GTX ($579.99)ASUS RX Vega 64 ($944.90)
  • A Scrypt ASIC Miner: This is a piece of hardware designed to do one job only. Scrypt ASIC miners are programmed to mine scrypt based currencies like Litecoin and Dogecoin. ASIC miners are very powerful. They are also very expensive, very loud and can get very hot! Here’s a few for you to check out;Innosilicon A2 Terminator ($760)Bitmain Antminer L3 ($1,649)BW L21 Scrypt Miner ($7,700)
Dogecoin Mining Software
Whether you’re mining with an ASIC, a GPU or a CPU, you’ll need some software to go with it. You should try to use the software that works best with the hardware you’re using. Here’s a short list of the best free software for each choice of mining hardware;
  • CPU: If you just want to give mining a quick try, using your computer’s CPU will work fine. The only software I would recommend for mining using a CPU only is CPU miner which you can download for free here.
  • GPU: If you mine with a GPU there are more software options. Here are a few to check out;CudaMiner– Works best with Nvidia products.CGminer– Works with most GPU hardware.EasyMiner– User-friendly, so it’s good for beginners.
  • Scrypt ASIC miner:MultiMiner– Great for mining scrypt based currencies like Litecoin and Dogecoin. It can also be used to mine SHA-256 currencies like Bitcoin.CGminer and EasyMiner can also be used with ASIC miners.
Recommendations
You’re a beginner, so keep it simple! When you first start mining Dogecoin I would recommend using a GPU like the Radeon RX 580 with EasyMiner software. Then I would recommend joining a Dogecoin mining pool. The best pools to join are multi-currency pools like Multipool or AikaPool.
If you want to mine Dogecoin but don’t want to invest in all the tech, there is one other option…
Dogecoin Cloud Mining
Cloud mining is mining without mining! Put simply, you rent computer power from a huge data center for a monthly or yearly fee. The Dogecoin is mined at the center and then your share is sent to you.
All you need to cloud mine Dogecoin is a Dogecoin wallet. Then choose a cloud mining pool to join. Eobot, Nice Hash and Genesis Mining all offer Scrypt-based cloud mining for a monthly fee.
There are pros and cons to Dogecoin cloud mining;
The Pros
  • It’s cheaper than setting up your own mining operation. There’s also no hot, noisy hardware lying around the house!
  • As a beginner, there isn’t a lot of technical stuff to think about.
  • You get a steady supply of new currency every month.
The Cons
  • Cloud mining pools don’t share much information about themselves and how they work. It can be hard to work out if a cloud mining contract is a good value for money.
  • You are only renting computer power. If the price of Dogecoin goes down, you will still have to pay the same amount for something that is worthless.
  • Dogecoin pools have fixed contracts. The world of crypto can change very quickly. You could be stuck with an unprofitable contract for two years!
  • It’s no fun letting someone else do the mining for you!
Now you know about all the different ways to mine Dogecoin we can ask the big question, can you make tons of money mining Dogecoin?
So, Is Dogecoin Mining Profitable?
The short answer is, not really. Dogecoin mining is not going to make you a crypto billionaire overnight. One Dogecoin is worth 0.002777 US Dollars. If you choose to mine Dogecoin solo, it will be difficult to make a profit. You will probably spend more money on electricity and hardware than you will make from Dogecoin mining. Even if you choose a Dogecoin pool or a cloud pool your profits will be small.
However, if you think I am telling you to not mine Dogecoin, then you’re WRONG! Of course, I think you should mine Dogecoin!
But why? Seriously…
Well, you should mine Dogecoin because it’s fun and you want to be a part of the Dogecoin family. Cryptocurrency is going to change the world and you want to be part of that change, right? Mining Dogecoin is a great way to get involved.
Dogecoin is the coin that puts a smile on people’s faces. By mining Dogecoin you’ll be supporting all the good work its community does. You’ll learn about mining from the friendliest gang in crypto. And who knows? In a few years, the Dogecoin you mine now could be worth thousands or even millions! In 2010, Bitcoin was worthless. Think about that!
Only you can choose whether to mine Dogecoin or not. You now know everything you need to know to make your choice. The future is here. So, what are you going to do?

[HM] Jeff Bezos turned my corpse into Bitcoin

First of all, I'm writing this note from Hell. The newly added circle of Hell designed for blog boys and clickety clackers. We do have Wi-Fi. I'm not quite sure what my punishment is supposed to be down here. At this moment, I'm outside a coffee shop with a protein infused wild berry smoothie. I'd say it's 75 degrees. Hold on I just pulled up the weather. It's 73 degrees. Hell is kinda tight but that's not what I'm here to warn you about.
Ok everybody, quit idolizing Jeff Bezos. He's a straw man in a gold hat. I know that multi-billionaires are the nicest people on Earth, but the exception is Jeff. I know for a fact that the super rich are charitable. Their dicks only go upwards, just like their bank accounts. But know this, the dick of Jeff Bezos is not to be trusted.
Ever heard of Amazon dot com? Shop at your own peril. Pay Pal is no pal of mine I'll fucking tell you that right now. Let me fill you in on a little secret; every time you make a purchase on Amazon dot com, you're entered into the Bezos lottery. And that's a jackpot even the saddest farty casino grandma would hate to win. And guess who shopped exclusively on Amazon dot com? It was me, Ok? I was the unlucky candidate to be visited personally by the scarecrow Jeff Bezos.
It's been three weeks since I died. At least I think about so. It's easy to lose the concept of time when your days are eternal. And also when you're rolling up the Devil's own Lettuce into a joint the size of an extra value tube of Colgate and smoking that shit with your new long boarding friends. I shouldn't even say when I "died" though. I was murdered. Murdered so good to the point where no physical evidence could be found.
I was in my top floor apartment when Bezos killed my ass. I was streaming Fortnite for all my fans when I heard a ruckus and a hullabaloo. Was I get getting swatted? No, it was coming from the ceiling. The sound kept getting louder and louder. My fans were donating suddenly, their comments saying things like, "Your ded now, boy." and "the reckoning draws near" and "Bezos incoming." It was a setup. These weren't my regular Twitch fans. They were all in on it, mocking me before my untimely death. I had hit the dreaded jackpot.
The next thing I knew, Jeff Bezos had just cut a massive circular hole into my ceiling with an industrial saw. His bald head gleaming white, it felt as if I was struck with a flash bang. Jeff Bezos repelled half way down, then dropped and did a cannon ball tuck, smashing into my computer desk. He ruined my game of Fortnite, and PC. Jeff Bezos is the ultimate stream sniper. I was taken aback as fuck. I asked him what he wanted. With a business casual attitude he said "I'll be taking all the cells from your body, if that's fine with you." It wasn't.
When my flight response kicked in, I forgot how much of a slob I was. I literally slipped on several banana peels attempting to escape out my front door. Bezos lumbering methodically behind, adjusting his tie clip, I started to cry. "Please, Jeff, No! I thought you were one of the good guys!" Jeff picked up my trash can and dumped half eaten Hungry Mans all over me. "Messy messy messy." Jeff snickered and extended his arms out toward me. An aura of power and wealth seemed to flow from his expensive duds, soon manifesting into a stream of bright green ones and zeros. I could feel my brain turning to mush. I was shut off from my human form, and my consciousness floated above my now deceased body.
I watched in horror as Jeff Bezos ripped my corpse apart, cell by cell. Now that I was dead, I understood the true nature of all things. There are an average of 32.7 trillion cells in a grown adult, and Jeff was meticulously turning each part of me into Bitcoin. Turns out, the crypto currency isn't something that can be generated at will on the internet. Bitcoin is humans. Bitcoin could have been your dad who you thought up and left your family. Sure, maybe he had a drinking problem, but he also had a Bezos problem.
As my anatomy dissolved into cyberspace, I felt nothing but rage. Jeff Bezos looked up in my general direction, like he could feel my presence. He winked, fully took off his shoes and pants and underwear, then shit on my floor. Damn you, Jeff Bezos, you're lucky Hell is way chiller than my life ever was.
I beg of you, don't use Amazon dot com, or anything that billionaire monster has ever had a hand in. He's an immaculately dressed warlock who's looking for his next victim. I think he's grown accustomed to the taste of complete and untraceable murder. Even if Bitcoin tanks, and crypto currency is a thing of the past, Jeff Bezos may still be coming for you.
